Lindsey Vonn’s fifteen minutes of fame continues

Lindsey Vonn is stretching her fame as long as she can. Usually at this point, Olympic stars fade into oblivion not to be seen or heard from for 4 years. But not this ski queen. She’s parlayed her two medals into a several month tour which now includes an appearance on Law & Order.
In the crime drama’s season finale, the skier will play an administrative assistant with a vital clue in a case involving a terrorist, NBC said. She’s set to film her scene with series stars Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson and Alana de la Garza next week in Brooklyn.
I’m interested to see how well she can act. And let’s all for the sake of comedy, hope it’s not as disastrous as the Michael Phelps Saturday Night Live routine. A SNL that will certainly live in humor infamy.
But considering Vonn’s flair for the dramatic and her *cough* “injured” shin in Vancouver, she should have no problem. She should, however, start to wear more leather pants because I can guarantee she has a longer shelf life as a sex symbol than a skier.
