Seattlle Mist PETA protest 1 640x426 Lingerie Football League players protest for PETA in the Seattle rain
For the second time in as many months, a Lingerie Football League team participated in a PETA protest. The lovely ladies of the Seattle Mist joined up to stand for the ethical treatment of animals. Not surprisingly, they did so wearing next to nothing, or, more specifically, their LFL uniforms.

A spokesman for PETA had this to say about the Lingerie Football League’s continuing support of their organization.

“Wearing fur is a personal foul,” says PETA Campaigner Katie Arth. “With so many stylish, warm, and durable fabrics available today, there’s no excuse for wearing anyone’s skin.”

Oh, personal foul, I get it. Nice play on words there Katie. The protest included such star players from the Mist as Playboy model Chelsie Jorgensen and Angela Rypien, daughter of former NFL quarterback Mark Rypien.

Fortunately for everyone involved, there were no wardrobe malfunctions to report. Although I suspect with the rain coming down, the ladies sported some rather wet clothing.
