Former FBI director Louis Freeh released his findings on the Penn State-Jerry Sandusky case and not surprisingly, it’s disgusting. Not only was there evidence of a cover-up but Joe Paterno revealed he was willing to let Sandusky stay on “as long as he was coach.” This, despite knowing of the investigation in 1998 and watching it closely.

That sound you just heard was Paterno’s family, friends and supporters running to the toilet to projectile vomit. The man they knew and loved harbored a pedophile. This isn’t hearsay anymore, this is by Joe’s own admission in emails.

There’s no reason to get too preachy here but firmly and simply stated: Joe cared more about the success and continuity of Penn State football than he did about the well-being of children.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to plan my trip to Happy Valley. There’s a statue that needs coming down.

What'd you think of this?
