Occupy Wallstreet has its inaugural protest on September 17th to much fanfare. In a rather stunning announcement on October 21st, President Barack Obama confirms that all U.S. troops will be out of Iraq before the end of the calendar year, thus ending the conflict more than eight year later.

64 days – Tim Tebow wins a football game

Perhaps the greatest quarterback to ever take the field leads a “miraculous” comeback against the mighty Miami Dolphins on October 23rd and runs the Denver Broncos record to a respectable 2-4.

72 days – World population reaches 7 billion

Although, it’s only an estimate from the United Nations, it appears world population crossed 7 billion people sometime today. Fitting that the couple that should never procreate call it quits on the same day.
