We’ve definitely heard of strange injuries before–Sammy Sosa famously pulled a muscle sneezing, Jeff Kent broke a hand washing his car and Marty Cordova had an unfortunate tanning salon incident. And now we can add Man City star Jerome Boateng to the list.
Boateng re-aggravated a knee injury on an airplane drink trolley. We knew that flight attendants were rough with that thing, we just never knew they used it as a battering ram.

Boateng tore a tendon in his left knee during Germany’s 2-2 draw against Denmark earlier this month – but aggravated the injury on the way home.
No word on whether Steven Slater of JetBlue fame was the trolley smashing attendant.
