Manu Ginobili blocks Kevin Durant’s dunk

I’m not sure what’s more shocking here…

That Manu Ginobili has that kind of vertical,
or
that he didn’t try to flop in the process

Impressive nonetheless. Especially since it came against the NBAs leading scorer and 6’9″ Kevin Durant. Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks went so far as to call it a “Superhero” play. Ginobili was a bit more modest though

“I was more expecting to be dunked on, to tell you the truth,”

“He’s really long, very athletic,” Ginobili said. “So I went up to see what would happen. Of course I wasn’t going to let him score an easy two.”

I’m guessing Ginobili is ignoring all those times he attempted a flop only to get dunked on in the process. Those obviously don’t count.

Durant’s streak of scoring 25 points or more ends at 29 games {ESPN}
