Maria Sharapova in UMM Magazine

For awhile, I thought the Maria Sharapova infatuation was gone. She had that terrible shoulder injury, she lost in some tourneys early, and she lost that luster that made her so famous.

Male tennis fans began to flock to newbie Caroline Wozniacki and even Serbian hottie Ana Ivanovic.

But after seeing these photos, I’m pretty sure we can be all those rumors to rest. Although these pictures are from last year, it’s fair to say Sharapova has announced her comeback of sorts.

Sure, she may have lost in the opening round of the Australian Open to fellow Russian Maria Kirilenko, but she bounced back with a tournament win just recently in Memphis.

So if her progression remains the same she should do a sexy spread in Maxim and it might lead to a Wimbledon win?

One can only hope
