Matador arrested after running away from bull

Sometimes in life you sacrifice your dignity for the sake of maintaining functional body parts. Unfortunately though in the sport of bull fighting, once you’re labeled a coward, there’s no going back.

That’s the situation Mexican matador Christian Hernandez finds himself in now. After being gored several months earlier, Hernandez decided to make a triumphant return to the ring. And by triumphant, we of course mean he took off running and jumped over the fence.

OLE!

Hernandez was actually arrested for “breach of contract” and had to pay a fine to garner a release. Upon his exit from jail, he provided this very emotional, heartfelt quote.

There are some things you must be aware of about yourself, I didn’t have the ability, I didn’t have the balls, this is not my thing.

Well, at least he was truthful. If given the chance to fight a bull and become a eunuch or sit at home and laugh at bullfighters, I happily choose the latter.

Apparently, I have balls the size of peas.
