Mavs even series; LeBron scores 8 in loss
Despite having a temperature of 101 and being unable to practice the last few days, Dirk Nowitzki had enough in the tank to score 10 points in the final frame to lead the Mavs to a 86-83 victory. If anything, it looked like his counterpart on the Heat, LeBron James was the one suffering an illness as he only managed 8 points on 3-11 shooting. The whispers about James’ play this series, especially in the fourth quarter have now grown to a dull roar. LeBron addressed his offensive issues after the game.
“I’ve got to do a better job of being more assertive offensively. I’m confident in my ability. It’s just about going out there and knocking them down.”
We’ve heard that before from LeBron and if he doesn’t step up to the plate to help his partner in crime, Dwyane Wade, it’ll be a long summer for the “decision maker”.
Here are some highlights from last night’s action.
The series will stay in Dallas for a critical game 5 before heading to Miami for the final two games.
