Mike Milbury calls Russians “Eurotrash”
A. Isaac Apparently NBC hockey broadcaster Mike Milbury is not a fan of the Russian Olympic Hockey team. We might even go as far as saying, outside of North America, he may not like any players on the European continent.
The “Eurotrash” line has been thrown around by many Canadian hockey announcers over the years. Most notably, “Grapes” himself Don Cherry. But I’ve never seen the word used so nonchalantly like Milbury did last night. Considering the recent mess Milbury got into with a Capitals blogger, he may want to lay low for awhile.
In fact, it’s probably in his best interests to just shut his mouth for rest of the hockey season
