Mark Dantonio strikes again with “Mousetrap”

A. Isaac Senior Editor

Earlier this year, MSU coach Mark Dantonio shocked college football fans everywhere by faking a field goal in overtime and defeating Notre Dame. Well, that sly fox was up to his old ways again on Saturday.

Trailing in the 4th quarter of the Northwestern game, MSU had a 4th down on the 31-yard line. Instead of kicking a field goal into a harsh wind or even going for it, the Spartans opted to take a delay of game penalty and punt….or so the Wildcats thought. As Mark Dantonio hilariously explains in a post-game interiew, “That play is called mouse trap–they took the cheese”.

What'd you think of this?
