MSU goes 2-0 after Dantonio’s words

Two weeks ago, Coach Mark Dantonio defended his program’s pride against an arrogant player who couldnt keep his mouth shut. Two weeks later, the results are in

MSU 2-0
UM 0-2

I know many have said that Dantonio acted like a fool, bickering with a young kid. I know many have said that his words rung hollow.

But you know what?

His players responded. They saw that their coach still had a lot of fight in them.

And they fought too. Two games, one on the road where they never win. One at home against a team they never beat.

MSU teams have collapsed other years after a loss to UM. Not this time.

This time it was UM and Gary Coleman who couldnt win a game in November.

If not for Ron Zook and Illinoi$, Dantonio would win coach of the year in the BigTen.

Either way, you have to be happy with the results this season as a MSU fan. And hopefully they get rewarded with a bowl in a warmer climate.
