Nate Burleson’s elbow looks a little funny

Apparently, yesterday was a bad day for injuries. Buster Posey, catcher for the San Francisco Giants, suffered a brutal busted ankle as he tried to block home plate. The news for Posey seems rather grim as there are rumors that he may be out for the rest of the year.

Big loss for the Giants if true.

That aside, Nate Burleson of the Detroit Lions tweeted this picture of his elbow yesterday—or at least, I think it’s his elbow. It could easily pass as a knee. Regardless of the anatomy, he has ample time to let it heal as the NFL and players’ union continue to battle it out in court.
