Nike Pro Combat uniforms for Army-Navy game
The 112th meeting of the Army-Navy game today will feature new Nike Pro Combat uniforms for each school. Here’s a sneak peak at what they will look like, including what the coaches will wear on the sidelines.
By the way, the Midshipmen aim to take their 10th in a row for the series. Below you’ll find more details on the uniform themselves.
Navy
The Navy Pro Combat uniform features the legendary Naval phrase “Don’t Tread” which is visible throughout the uniform, both on the back inner collar as well as the upper sock area. The time-tested Navy anchor is also prominent on both the front collar and pant leg. Known for their classic white gloves and dapper style, Navy’s Pro Combat gloves are predominantly traditional white.
Army
Army’s uniform pays homage to the timeless teams that have produced some of the strongest squads to grace the gridiron. The uniforms draw inspiration directly from the 1944 and 1945 undefeated national championship teams that came on the heels of World War II. Gold pants combined with a clean white uniform give the Black Knights a traditional, yet intimidating look to match their on-field style of play.
