Patrick Eaves with the worst shootout attempt ever

It was as if neither the Predators nor the Red Wings wanted to score in last night’s shootout. Both teams sent 11 players to the ice with the winning goal coming from defenseman Niklas Kronwall. The Wings Patrick Eaves contributed to the circus with this blooper-reel shootout attempt.

How ironic that the announcer talks up how good your shot is and you fall flat on your face. To make matters worse, the referee rips on you on your way back to the bench. I give him credit though, at least he can laugh about it. Not easy knowing you’ll be the brunt of everyone’s joke the next few days. And by everyone, I mean the 10 or so people who actually watched the game.
