Pau Gasol’s tip-in beats the Thunder
A. Isaac The defending NBA champs were almost pushed to the limit in their first round match-up with the 8th seeded Thunder. But Pau Gasol’s timely tip-in with .5 seconds gave the Lakers a much needed Game 6 win.
The Thunder had several opportunities to extend their lead over the last 2 minutes but the Lakers defense stepped up when it counted. They will now face the Utah Jazz on Sunday, who also won their first round series against the Nuggets in 6 games.
