Paul Pierce rips LeBron on Twitter

The Miami Heat have become the punch line in many jokes early in this NBA season. While many believed that they were the odds-on favorites to win the championship and possibly win 70 games, they’ve stumbled out of the gate with a 5-4 record. Their biggest rivals in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics, have beat them twice already, including last night’s 112-107. If not for a furious comeback in the 4th quarter, the score would have been much more lopsided.

Paul Pierce is well-aware of the shenanigans “The Big Three” pulled this summer in free agency. And like many of us, he took to Twitter last night to offer up his “South Beach” one-liner.

I normally abhor all things Boston, but I’m forced to give a tip of the cap to Paul Pierce here. Doubtful that LeBron James (@kingjames) responds, more so because he’s probably too busy adding Paul Pierce to his naughty list.
