Paul Pierce’s buzzer beater gives Celtics 3-0 lead

With Dwyane Wade looking on from the bench with a cramp in his calf, Paul Pierce sent a dagger into the Heat with this jumper at the buzzer.

The Heat are now on the brink of elimination as they’re down 3-0 to the Celtics.

Moments before the shot, Wade was carried off the court by teammates with what appeared to be a serious injury. Replays showed him landing on Ray Allen’s foot but DWade insisted he just had cramps.

“Great player made a great shot,” Wade said. “I couldn’t really see it too much. But I did see the ball go in the basket.”

Wade will likely suit up for Game 4 but it appears the series is already over. No team has come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA and the way the Heat are looking, their best fight may have come along the sidelines with Kevin Garnett in Game 1.
