Looks like Sergei’s new 1 year contract worth 4 million dollars will go straight to a bank in Michigan as he defaulted on a 2.25 million dollar loan.

The newspaper, citing court documents, says Fedorov got loans in 2004 and 2005, one for $1.75 million and another for $500,000

Man, whats up with former Red Wings not paying up their bills. First, Darren McCarty and now Federov. If I’m a bank in Metro Detroit, the only way I’m giving someone a loan now is if Mike Illitch co-signs it himself.
