President Obama gives Magic Johnson some good-natured ribbing

Magic Johnson probably doesn’t have many regrets in his basketball career. He was a NCAA champion at MSU and five-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers. Throw in a gold medal at the ’92 Barcelona games and I’d say he had a pretty successful career.

But I’m sure there are times he thinks he let one get away. Surely, he replays those series in the 80s with the Celtics and the Pistons that he ended up being on the losing end.

In 1991, an old and somewhat has-been Lakers team took on the upstart Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan in the NBA finals. And while I’m positive Magic has seen the “What a spectacular move by MJ” numerous times, having the President of the United States re-enact it for you is probably something that will stick with you for another twenty years.

What'd you think of this?
