Rachel Uchitel’s quote about her fiancé dying on 9/11 will not be well-received

Rachel Uchitel is not a particularly well-liked person in general (for whatever reason…I don’t particularly care about her either way), but her quote to the NY Post will certainly not endear her to anyone. In it, she says that she’s kind of happy her then-fiancé died on 9/11.

“I believe Andy was meant to die because he was too good.

“I’m almost happy it ended the way it did because I’ve learned so many lessons from him. It would have been tragic if we got into fights and then divorced.”

Far be it from me to judge the process of someone who lost someone close to them in 9/11, but that just seems like an odd statement to make. especially this close to the tenth anniversary of the tragic event. I’m all for finding the silver lining in even the most horrific of trials in life, but that’s just an extremely grim thing to say about someone you supposedly loved so dearly.

Then again, I didn’t have Tiger Woods blowing millions of dollars of jizm into me to the point where I got a spot on Celebrity Rehab for my “sex addiction,” so maybe it’s more my personal choices that need to be called into question.
