Rashard Lewis quashes ridiculous rumor that he was banging LeBron’s girlfriend

Rashard Lewis went on 97.9 “The Box” in Houston yesterday to address the crazy internet rumor that he was banging Savannah, LeBron’s girlfriend. Not surprisingly, Lewis said that it never happened and that he, in fact, has never even met her before.

Wow! I’m completely shocked that a rumor based out of a Cleveland blog (supposedly) would try to stir up controversy about LeBron James during the NBA finals. There’s butthurt and then there are Cavs fans.

Personally, I blame Stephen A. Smith for this rumor gaining legs. Had Smith not even made mention of this on a legitimate show like “Mike and Mike”, then nobody for a second gives this a second thought. Unless, of course, Smith was talking about something entirely different when he said LeBron had “personal issues” he was dealing with (yea, right).

Anyways, stay tuned for the rumors that will almost certainly fly should the Heat lose this series. At the rate it’s going, my guess is that the next one involves LeBron’s mom, girlfriend and a Bang Bros. bus operated by Mark Cuban. I mean, there has to be a reason nobody’s heard from him right?
