Former ESPN analyst Sean Salisbury was relieved of his duties as the color commentator for the Lingerie Football League. The announcement came on the league’s website from LFL Chairman and CEO Mitchell Mortaza. “While we valued the time Sean shared with us here at the LFL, ultimately we wanted a fresh perspective and someone that brought a level of excitement and enthusiasm to our broadcasts.”
A somewhat PC response to what insiders are saying is a lack of respect from Salisbury towards the production team. Certainly not the first time Salisbury has acted somewhat inappropriately towards his employers. If you recall, Salisbury was fired from ESPN after showing pictures of his genitals to female coworkers. An accusation that led to him suing Deadspin.com, despite the fact he admitted to the wrongdoing.
Sexual harassment aside, we’ll miss Salisbury’s calls of high-flying LFL action, including this epic line about a wardrobe malfunction.
