The Pau Gasol-Lakers-girlfriend drama has now made its way to Twitter. Last week we told you that Gasol’s breakup with Silvia Castro may have had something to do with Kobe’s wife, Vanessa. But now it appears a different rumor is being bandied about. One that involves Shannon Brown banging Ms. Castro.

Ok let me put a end to this right now before it goes any further. I DID NOT SLEEP WITH @paugasol woman!!! First and last time addressing it!

If this seems out of right field to you, you’re not alone. Making our rounds on the web, we weren’t able to target where the rumor originated or in fact, if the rumor had any legs. Nevertheless, Brown felt the need to address it on Twitter where he has 150,000 followers. So, a casual conversation or rumor on a message board has now been displayed to the masses.

I’m guessing this was a PR misstep by Brown and in the end, I’m not so sure this will make his wife, R&B singer Monica, very happy.
