I’ve hated Gary Sheffield for a long time. I would regularly boo him at games I attended.

So for me, this is a great morning. So long Gary, don’t let that syringe hit you in your ass on the way out.

In a stunning move, because they will eat the $14 million they owe him for 2009, the Tigers on Tuesday released designated hitter Gary Sheffield.
