Sports pic of the day

Whoever said that rivalries end with player’s retirements never met Andre Agassi or Pete Sampras. Last week in a charity event for Haiti, Agassi and Sampras teased each other with teammates Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal looking on.
It was supposed to be a bit light-hearted but things got overly personal when Agassi accused Sampras of being a cheap tipper. To Sampras’ credit, he didn’t respond, although several he had several meth and Brooke Shields jokes at his disposal.
Agassi has since apologized for the entire ordeal saying his jokes were out of line:
“It was inappropriate. The night was on fire. We were all having fun. I was trying to be comedic. I only had a split second to make a decision. I went for it and it fell flat. I was trying to get past it, but Pete didn’t really let me get past it. He didn’t really roll with it. I’ve texted Pete to ask him if I can apologize in person.”
Apparently though, this was all news to playing partner Rafael Nadal who was asked after the match about the altercation:
During the match, no, because I didn’t understand nothing. (laughter.) No, that’s the true. They speak very fast for me.
