Not sure if the devil is in reference to the team or to their sniveling coach, regardless, the devil came out on top in this one. Hatred for Duke aside, they were the only #1 seed to advance to the final four. They seem prepped for their 4th national title under Coach K, although the remaining teams are no slouches. While everybody is complaining about some rather lower seeds making the final four, this fact still remains: All 4 of these teams were ranked top 10 in the pre-season. In fact, Michigan State was a top ten team for a majority of the season, going as high as #2. So maybe, just maybe, this isn’t as surprising as people are making it out to be.
