Syracuse loses to Div. 2 LeMoyne
A. Isaac No, this isn’t March Madness and really, it was only an exhibition…but tiny LeMoyne college defeated 25th ranked Syracuse last night 82-79. LeMoyne, which is actually located in Syracuse is a Division 2 school with about 2800 students. For comparison sakes, Syracuse has about 20,000.
And 99% of the time, Syracuse probably has a better team.
But not on this night. The Cuse actually had a 1 point lead down the stretch when little known Chris Johnson of LeMoyne hit a deep 3 to secure the win.
Pretty amazing and its probably one of the reasons college basketball is one of the greatest sports on earth.
