Rookie Taj Gibson of the Chicago Bulls has had a nice season thus far. Averaging a little over 8 points and 6.5 rebounds a game, he’s shown that he was worthy of maybe being picked earlier than 26th in the draft.
And who knew he was so deft at dribbling the ball for a big man. Granted, it was against Chris Kaman, not exactly the most fleet of foot, but it was impressive nonetheless.
Unfortunately, the dunk didn’t prove to be enough as the Bulls dropped a home game to a Clippers team that had been struggling mightily coming into the game. Winners of only 2 road games in their last 14, the Clippers were more than happy to see their big man, Chris Kaman, return to the lineup after missing some time with a sprained ankle.
So he deserves somewhat of a pass for being lead-footed on the dunk. The Bulls announcer, however, was pretty damn excited.
