West Virginia radio host suspended for playing Michigan fight song
A Charleston, W.Va., radio personality has been suspended indefinitely for his enthusiasm over football coach Rich Rodriguez landing the Michigan job, the Charleston Daily Mail is reporting.
Coach Kidd, a Michigan native, hosts a morning talk show on Electric 102.7 FM. On Wednesday, after playing the Wolverines’ fight song, “Hail to the Victors,” for the fourth time, Kidd was asked to step away from the microphone.
What an ahole. I can understand if he wanted to play it once but 4 times. That’s dropping salt in an open wound.
