TCU, Boise State: Fiesta Bowl highlights

Most people didn’t expect much from the TCU-Boise State game. It was the red-headed step child of the BCS bowls.

But thankfully, nobody informed the Horned Frogs or the Broncos that their game was supposed to suck. Instead, we got one of the more exciting BCS games of the year with the Broncos barely edging that stingy TCU defense. And I guess if you compare anything to that awful Sugar Bowl, its bound to be exciting.

Tied at 10-10 and the game destined for overtime, the Broncos dug into their bag of tricks for a play called “The Riddler”. A fake punt that was executed to a T.

And while we found that play extremely exciting, apparently the cowbell girl in the band was less than enthused. (Busted Coverage however says, “Hold on there, that girl is blind, take it easy”). So, I applaud this young lady for being in the band despite her limitations. But I think its fair to say that nobody, including her, has anything on that Texas Tech ringer a few years back

We’re also happy to report that there was an Erin Andrews sighting on the sidelines. Although, she did almost get run over by a Broncos player.

And what would a Boise State bowl game be without the obligatory football player, cheerleader hook up. Even Ian Johnson would be impressed by this.
