The Andre Johnson-Cortland Finnegan fight

It’s not often you see punches actually land in a sport where guys are equipped with helmets and pads. But during yesterday’s Texans-Titans game, Andre Johnson had enough of cornerback Cortland Finnegan’s antics and unleashed his fists of fury on him. Both were ejected for the incident.

Suffice to say that both Johnson and Finnegan are probably facing heavy fines and a possible suspension. Luckily for the Texans, they were already up 17-0 when the fight occurred and it was late in the 4th quarter. Otherwise, the Titans would have been more than happy to trade Finnegan for the other team’s best player.
