The Dark Knight Rises, which is scheduled for a 2012 release, filmed at Heinz Field over the weekend. Ben Roethlisberger, LaMarr Woodley, Troy Polamalu and a host of other Pittsburgh Steelers personnel are extras in a scene where the Gotham Rogues play a game against the Rapid City Monuments. For Woodley, the appearance is a dream come true.

“I can’t wait,” said Woodley, a big Batman fan growing up. “I don’t care if they showed me for half a second, because I’m going to the movie and now I can look at myself.”

Although cameras were strictly forbidden during Saturday’s taping, Caught on Set was able to get their hands on some pictures.
