The Dick Katcher Award is given to the University of Michigan outstanding defensive lineman or outside linebacker at the conclusion of each football season. The award was established by Dick Katcher in 1982.

This year Tim Jamison was the lucky recipient of the Dick Katcher award

So you’re Tim Jamison. As a senior, you’ve never defeated Ohio State, you lost to your in-state rival MSU, and you were just part of the worst season in the history of UM football.

What better way to send you off into the real world than being a Dick Katcher.
