The Guyism March Madness bracket
After much analysis, some head banging, and second guessing, here is my final March Madness bracket. I’m sure you were all waiting on pins and needles.

Midwest:
Not surprisingly, I have Kansas as the bracket champion, although that Sweet 16 rematch with MSU will be a better game than people expect. OSU lacks the depth to make it to the Final Four even with Evan Turner. Playing six guys is nice and all until someone gets in foul trouble. A smart coach like John Thompson III can exploit that.
No big upsets to speak of in the Midwest. Tennessee could make some noise but they tend to play a bit out of control at times. It’s a wonder if Bruce Pearl is possibly thinking about that Iowa job if his Vols go down early.
West
With Syracuse center Arinze Onuaku gone for the first weekend, the Orange could have some serious trouble with Gonzaga’s big men. The 2-3 zone is going to have to work to perfection. Kansas St. looks like a very serious contender in the bottom half of the bracket but ultimately if the Orange can get Onuaku back and relatively healthy, they shouldn’t have too much trouble after the Zags.
East
With John Calipari clamoring to his team that nobody respects them, you have to think the Wildcats will playing the “disrespect card” until the Final Four. The committee certainly didn’t do them any favors by giving them a second round catchup with the Longhorns. West Virginia could potentially give the young wildcats fits in the Elite 8 game
South
Yes, Duke got possibly the easiest bracket in recent memory. If they don’t at the very least make the Regional Final than maybe their run as an elite program is over. Side by side though, Villanova can match up on the perimeter with Duke. Be interesting to see if Duke can win a game despite being ice cold from the floor again. Something they haven’t been able to do in recent years.
Final Four: Kansas, Syracuse, Kentucky, Villanova
Championship game: Kansas, Kentucky
Champion: Kansas
