That’s what losing franchises do.
That’s what losing teams do.
And sadly, thats what losing players do.

When only one play needed to be made down the stretch, not a single player stepped up.

Instead of simply falling on a fumble, Paris Lennon tried to pick it up and run.
Instead of sliding down in bounds on a third down, Jon Kitna threw an incomplete pass.
Instead of trying to run the clock out, Lions players took off for the sidelines.

Some will say the Lions are just plain unlucky, I however will say that this is what permeates throughout the Lions organization.

Top to bottom, this was a failure. From Ford to Millen to Marinelli to Special teams Coach Stan Kwan to Jason Hanson.

Everybody had a hand in this loss.
