Late last night, Yahoo came out with a story that Louisville coach Rick Pitino was a victim of some kind of extortion scheme.

The article didn’t really delve who was extorting him and what if any details were available…

But Fox News 41 who was been tracking the story for weeks has said that Karen Sypher, wife of Louisville equipment manager Tim Sypher is the extortionist.

Far be it for me to look deeper into internet rumors but the reason Sypher is able to extort money from Pitino is because she has valuable information

And that information is Pitino and Sypher supposedly had an affair.

It seems like this situation is getting uglier by the minute too….Five days ago, it appears Karen and Tim Sypher were in court for something…presumably a divorce hearing.

Whatever the case, this won’t end well for Pitino. People don’t get extorted unless they have something to hide.

So what’s Pitino hiding? At this point, it seems like an affair may be the least of his problems.
