Zach Tomaselli 135x95 Third victim in Bernie Fine case arrested for violating bail condition

The alleged molestation scandal of Syracuse assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine continues to get weirder by the hour. Jim Boeheim is being sued by two of Fine’s accusers for defamation after vehemently defending his old friend and colleague immediately after news broke. Their lawyer is none other than the infamous Gloria Allred, who, if you recall, tried to legally extort money from Tiger Woods in her representation of Rachel Uchitel and porn star Joslyn James.

Not much, however, has been made of Fine’s third accuser, Zach Tomaselli. Charges have been brought against Tomaselli for sexual abuse in his home state of Maine. A charge that Tomaselli, himself, admits to.

While awaiting trial, Tomaselli was told not to have contact with anybody under the age of 18—and he broke that. Yesterday, the 23-year-old was arrested for giving a ride to a minor. He’s now being held without bail.

Again, let me reiterate how strange this case. The evolution of Fine being a good guy to a molester to ESPN knowing about it for 8 years to the shadiness of the accusers makes me think this will one day become an after-school special.

What'd you think of this?
