This is what a punt looks like from a Heisman candidate

While most of you were watching solid FBS games this fine Saturday, I decided to enjoy two high school teams masquerading in Big Ten uniforms. Yes, the match-up between Purdue and Michigan was arguably the worst display of football since Bobby Boucher lined up as linebacker for the SCLSU Mud Dogs. Not only were there a comedy of errors that included ten turnovers, but the coaches tried their hardest to one-up each other in the idiotic decision department.

A perfect example of the aforementioned was this ingenious idea from Rich Rodriguez to have QB Denard Robinson punt in a torrential downpour. The result? A 7-yard bomb.

How’s that Denard4Heisman candidacy going?
