Tiger Woods2 Tiger Woods and Golf Digest part ways

And the hits just keep on coming for Tiger Woods. Less than a day after being dropped off the cover of his own video game from EA Sports, the golfer has parted ways from his second longest standing endorsement deal with Golf Digest magazine.

Golf Digest, with a circulation of 1.65 million, announced Thursday the mutual end of a relationship that began at the 1997 Masters. He made his debut in the magazine in June that year, and the endorsement had been his second-longest, behind Nike.

“We appreciate the insights Tiger has provided to our readers,” Jerry Tarde, chairman and editor-in-chief of the publication, said in a statement. Woods’ articles mainly were instructional tips.

So really, in essence, the only endorsement Tiger has left is with Nike. He’s lost Accenture, AT&T and Gatorade, and Gillette all since the scandal.

Call me crazy but if Tiger has another sub-par season on the course, I can see the Swoosh letting him go as well. You’re only as good as the number of times you win right?

What'd you think of this?
