Tiger Woods press conference 2 309x205 Tiger Woods will promote BenGay like product on Japanese TV

How far the mighty have fallen. Yesterday, Tiger Woods held a press conference to let the world know that he’s unsure of when he’ll be able to come back to golf. He hasn’t taken a swing in 47 days and frankly, if he plays the British Open at this point, it would be quite shocking. In the meantime though, since Woods seems to be devoid of any sponsors, he’ll be starring in a new Japanese commercial for a heat rub. So yea, there’s that.

“Kowa Company Ltd. is pleased to announce the use of Tiger Woods as the image character of Antiphlogistic Analgetic Vantelin Kowa series,” the Nagoya-based company said in a press release.

The TV commercial with Woods will debut nationally in Japan from mid-July.

Somebody may want to let Tiger know that there are other razors out there besides Gilette. Just because they didn’t renew his endorsement deal doesn’t mean he has to stop shaving entirely. I mean, we know he’s cheap and all, but a few BiC’s won’t set him back too much. Certainly not as much as all those breakfasts at Perkins.
