Tim Tebow tells teammate that God spoke to him
Just when you thought Tebowmania had reached its peak, there’s now a story about him directly communicating with the Almighty one. Yes, Tim Tebow told linebacker Wesley Woodyard that God had spoken to him. Whether he meant that literally or figuratively, at this point, may not matter. The spiritual legend of Tebow grows greater than anyone (except the Lord himself) could have imagined.
“It’s not necessarily prophesying,” Tebow said. “But sometimes you can feel God has a big plan.”
What if football wasn’t unscripted drama but a movie directed from heaven? Got to admit, I don’t buy it. But some Broncos do.
“For all the Tebow haters: You better start believing,” Woodyard said.
This will certainly spur some interesting water cooler conversations at work today. Some might wonder, if God’s on Tim Tebow’s side, who could be against him?
Perhaps the Detroit Lions, who, at this point, remain the only team to beat Tebow in this “miraculous” stretch. Given that some have labeled the Lions as “Bad Boys” for their numerous personal fouls, maybe it really was a battle of, “Good vs. Evil.”
