“The Daily Show” had Tim Tebow on last night and, surprise, surprise, it was relatively boring. There were a few quips back and forth, one of which included Jon Stewart hilariously calling him an “a$$hole” for all his charitable doings–but otherwise, nothing spectacular.

Tebow did however comment on the the Ohio State scandal and whether amateur athletes deserved some kind of “pay for play”. He responded saying, “they’re struggling to go to Outback to get something to eat…..if they could afford a scooter to drive around campus–little things like that”.

So that’s how they get by in Gainesville huh? Driving to the local Outback on their mopeds to eat a steak. Sounds like a nice life. If only the boys in Columbus would have traded their memorabilia for a nice New York strip, then Jim Tressel would still have a job today. Damn shame.
