Tony Hawk is as fierce a competitor as you’ll ever encounter. The skateboard legend, still to this day, can beat guys half his age at a sport he put on the map for the better part of two decades. Away from skateboarding though, Hawk has had his trouble with the ladies. In December of 2010, his third wife, Lhotse Merriam, found out that he was cheating on her with another woman. And not just any other woman mind you–his best friend Matt Goodman’s wife, Cathy.

Hawk has been known to come up with some awesome names for his famous moves. Wondering what he called this one. A backside fakie with a kickflip to your friend’s groin? Yea, sounds about right.

Sources said Merriam found out about her action-sport-star husband’s new relationship in December after she found a plane ticket for Cathy that Hawk had booked for her to join him in San Francisco — despite his being lifelong friends with Matt Goodman.

Hawk and Goodman had been friends since childhood. Sources told us Goodman stood as a groomsman at every one of Hawk’s three weddings.

Not that it makes the situation any better or worse, but the guy stood up in every one of your weddings and you hoe’d him like that? Ouch. I guess the term bros before hoes doesn’t apply to legends like Hawk.
