“Trav the Planker” wants you to help pay his $500 fine for planking during a game
A. Isaac The internet phenomenon known as planking reached an all-time low recently when this picture surfaced of an oily, 62-year old Richard Simmons with one of his students.
As visually disturbing as that picture is, it nonetheless has not proved to be the deterrent it should, as planking continues to be quite popular. Take, for example, this man who calls himself “Trav the Planker”. Trav ran on the field during Saturday’s Detroit Tigers game and planked for several seconds in the outfield before he was taken away by security.
Judging from this fan’s Facebook page, it appears the plank was planned in advance.
I’m not sure what’s more sad here. The fact that this Facebook page has 3,000 likes or that he’s asking for PayPal donations to cover the $500 fine he received. So yea folks, if you have a few dollars to spare, forget your local charities and help this poor schlub pay for his stupidity. Undoubtedly, a wise investment for the future of America’s youth.
