Point guard Jamie Harris and backup forward Kevin Phillip are considered fugitives of the law after armed robbery of a woman in off-campus housing. Apparently, the robbery was planned in advance as they gained access to the apartment and left the door ajar with a piece of paper. Criminal masterminds I tell ya. For all their hard felonious work, they got an iPhone out of it.

The two players staged the robbery at an off-campus student housing complex, but the woman they targeted had no cash, so they stole her iPhone. Their escape was captured on tape. So was Bond’s effort to set up the robbery, visiting the victim and leaving a piece of paper in her door jamb so it wouldn’t lock properly.

Really, if you wanted an iPhone that badly, you could have just waited for the next Apple engineer to get drunk and leave it at a bar again.

As for Drexel coach Bruiser Flint…well, he’s evidently unaware of the situation.

“I’m trying to figure this thing out,” Flint said.

Coach Flint, let me try to explain this to you in in basketball terms in hopes that you’ll grasp the situation a bit better. Your players scouted their opponent and thought they had set up a perfect play out of a timeout. But when it came to time to execute in the clutch, they turned the ball over.

Make sense now?
