VIDEO: Andruw Jones gets an onion ring shower
A. Isaac Yankees outfielder Andruw Jones got a bit of a surprise when he went sliding into the left field corner to make a play on a ball last night. Instead of coming up with the catch, Jones got a face full of onion rings dumped on him. And as I always say, if you’re going to get food dumped on you, it may as well be of the fried variety.
Not sure if this guy was caught by surprise or if he was legitimately trying to make a play on a foul ball with a plate full of food. Either way, his night at the ballpark just got that much more expensive.
