VIDEO: Announcers enthusiastically call Division II buzzer-beater

Last week, we scolded an announcer for failing to exhibit proper enthusiasm for a game-winning basket. Today, we have just the opposite. Listen as these two announcers go absolutely bananas when Bloomsburg University’s Nnamdi Njoku tips one in at the buzzer.

Bloomsburg had rallied from 17 down in the game to defeat East Stroudsburg so you can understand the announcer’s exuberance. Also of note, the team had a lost a heartbreaker at the buzzer only 4 days earlier.

We’re still a week away from March Madness but hopefully this is but a mere taste of things to come in the college basketball world.
