Blizzard tears apart Wrigley Field roof
Chances are, if you’re living in the United States, you’ve been affected in some kind by this monstrous blizzard that’s making its way across the country. Even Dallas, Texas was hit with some sleet and ice that blacked out large parts of the city late last night and early this morning. Ironic that the week of the Super Bowl, Texas gets hit with a very rare wintry mess. Must be the curse of the Packers or something.
Aside from that, it looks like Chicago may have gotten the worst of it with high winds and snow accumulations reaching some two feet in some places. The heart of the city itself took a huge hit when tiles from the Wrigley Field roof were blown off by the winds last night.
Here’s video of some of the debris laying in a parking lot across the street from the stadium.
