Early in the first period of Game 6 last night, Canucks forward Mason Raymond took an awkward spill into the wall. At first glance, the hit doesn’t look bad. However, Raymond stayed down for a considerable amount of time and needed help getting off the ice.

That didn’t stop classless Boston fans from chanting “flopper” as Raymond laid there motionless.

Dan Murphy of Canada’s Sportsnet reported this morning that Raymond’s injury is fairly serious and he’ll be out 4-6 weeks.

Source close to Raymond family saying he suffered a fractured vertebrae from Boychuck hit. Not sure if he can travel with team today.

Quite a misstep there Bruins fans. Especially considering the Aaron Rome-Nathan Horton incident earlier in the series.
